How to configure

An access control system integration is configured on 2 levels:

  1. Decide when you want to grant and revoke access: granting access can be very different from site to site. Therefore Peripass will grant and revoke acces using Triggers Peripass. Once you set up your connection, it will be possible to configure new actions to grant/revoke access.

    1. Using Triggers & Actions, create an action to Grant/revoke physical access through PIN-Point

    2. image-20241125-164052.png
    3. Your PIN-Point door should automatically appear in the list of available doors. The name of will be the name that was communicated when ordering the PIN-Point. As a reference, the unique ID of your PIN-Point is always mentioned as well.

    4. Contact support if your door does not appear in the list or if you want to change the name of the door.

  2. Act when a visitor enters the site: when a visitor enters the site, you typically want to set the visitor onsite. As there might be many different other automations linked, Peripass will expect you to configure this using triggers and actions. You can use the combination of the trigger “When a visitor was able to access” and the action “Change visitor - onsite/offsite status”.

    1. Create a Trigger … when a visitor was able to access

    2. image-20241125-164654.png
    3. The PIN-Point door you want to monitor automatically appears in the list of available doors.
